Workin' That 5 O'Clock Shadow...

So as you all know last month was breast cancer awareness month for all of the brave women who are going through or have survived breast cancer. However, not many people know that this month is MEN'S CANCER AWARENESS month and in support of that Harris House Music Lounge will be having a special contest where all proceeds will be donated to cancer treatment and research centers around the Twin Cities.

Our contest will start TOMORROW night and our theme will be NO SHAVE NOVEMBER. We are asking men from all around the Twin Cities to come compete for the best BEARD AWARD. Ladies don't worry we haven't left you out! You will be voting! Door open at 5pm and we will have a line up of local bands coming in to play. Admission is $10 to general public and for the men competing $5. If you are competing we will take your picture at the doors and your portrait will be posted on the back wall near the bar for final voting. As I said above all proceeds will go to fund the Cancer Research and Treatment Center in Minneapolis. SO come join us for live music and a night of hairy fun...or just fun if that's what you want. :P
